Information Station!

Hello Band Families!

My name is Ms. Carly Miller & I am your student's band teacher at Day Creek Intermediate, Golden Elementary, & Lightfoot Elementary!

I am so excited to be back at Day Creek for a 2nd year to continue making the lives of students better with music. Along with creating a safe space for all band students to thrive through musicality & creativity!

My Musical Journey: I began band in 5th grade & continued all throughout middle school, high school, & college. My main instruments are Bassoon & Percussion.

I have my Associates of Music Degree from Riverside City College & my Bachelor of Arts in Music Education Degree from California State University, Fullerton

I have performed in numerous concert & marching band groups including Southland Wind Symphony, Pomona Concert Band, CSUF Wind Symphony, RCC Marching Tigers, Vessel Indoor Percussion, & The Academy Drum & Bugle Corps.

Communication: I respond to messages/emails Monday-Friday from 7am-5pm, I respond on weekends if it is urgent.
